How to Bid

Looking to source materials? It is quick and easy to place a bid on a variety of different waste and recycled commodities on WasteTrade.

First, you must be logged into your WasteTrade account. If you don’t yet have an account with us, setting one up takes only a few minutes. Click here to register.

Once logged in, click on the ‘Buy’ tab at the top of your screen. This will take you directly to the marketplace.

Here, you will be able to view all the listings of the different materials available for purchase on WasteTrade. You can browse through them here, or you can filter by material type, location and more.

Once you have found a listing you want to purchase, click on it to open the listing page. Here you will have the chance to request more information about the listing or samples of the material.

Once you are ready to make an offer for the listing, click ‘Bid Now’. This will open a window where you can enter your bid and click ‘Submit Bid’, which will send your offer to the seller.

You can check on the status of your bids in your Dashboard by going to ‘My Offers’, then ‘Buying’.
