We offer a consistent supply of post-agricultural LLDPE/LDPE plastic film scrap sourced from agricultural silage and grass bale wrapping in Chile.
The material is collected, sorted and processed through shredding, pre-washing and centrifugation before being compacted into bales for efficient handling and international transportation.
Material: Post-Agricultural Plastic Film Scrap
Polymer: LLDPE / LDPE (Linear Low-Density / Low-Density Polyethylene)
Origin: Agricultural silage and grass bale wrapping film
Country of Origin: Chile
Processing Location: Los Lagos Region, Chile
Condition: Shredded, pre-washed and centrifuged
Packaging: Compressed bales
Bale Weight: Approx. 500 kg ±5%
Bale Dimensions: Approx. 1.2 m × 1.3 m × 0.8 m
Available Supply: Approx. 60–120 metric tons per month
Material Specifications
Polymer base density: 0.915–0.925 g/cm³
Estimated Melt Flow Index (MFI): 0.5–2.0 g/10 min (190°C / 2.16 kg)
Film thickness: approximately 20–25 microns
Current relative moisture: approximately 30% (±3%)
Washing water turbidity after final rinse: approximately 245 NTU
Metal contamination: None detected
Organic contamination: Minimal traces of grass/forage may remain
Mineral contamination (soil/sand): Low level due to pre-washing process
The material is suitable for polyethylene recycling, extrusion and pelletizing processes. Due to its current moisture level, a final drying stage (thermal or friction drying) is required before extrusion or pelletizing.
If the material is processed without an additional final washing stage, filtration during extrusion is recommended to remove remaining fine particles.
Available Color Classifications
Type A – Pure White:
Bales composed exclusively of white agricultural film. Recommended for recycling lines where maintaining lighter colors in the final recycled pellet is important.
Type B – Beige/Cream:
Bales composed primarily of beige or cream-colored agricultural film.
Type C – Standard Mixed Color:
Bales containing a combination of white, beige and other agricultural film colors.
Supply & Export
We can provide a regular monthly supply of approximately 60–120 metric tons, with the possibility of establishing continuous shipments for international buyers.
The material is available for export from Chile, with shipments that can be coordinated through the ports of San Antonio or Valparaíso.
Photos, videos and additional documentation regarding the material condition, processing stages, moisture measurements and washing-water turbidity tests can be provided to interested buyers.
We are looking to establish long-term relationships with recyclers, plastic processors, pellet manufacturers and trading companies interested in a stable supply of post-agricultural LLDPE/LDPE film scrap from Chile.
